Markt POS

The manual processes that kept them going for years turned into a bottleneck. Typing transactions by hand left room for mistakes, and running inventory on paper left gaps that the team didn't have time to chase down during busy shifts.

Their family knew there had to be a better way — so they made the switch to Markt POS.

Markt POS frequently asked questions

Expand allCollapse all
How long does migration to Markt POS take?

Most stores are up and running in 2–3 days. We handle the data transfer, and you stay open the whole time.

Do I need to replace my hardware?

Markt POS works with most existing scales, scanners, and receipt printers. We'll confirm hardware compatibility before your install so there are no surprises at go-live.

What happens to all my product data?

When you switch to Markt POS, all of your product data comes with you. We import your items, prices, and departments as part of the migration, so you don’t rebuild from scratch. Our team handles the transfer so your shelves and your system match from the moment you go live.

What if my internet goes down?

With Markt POS, your registers keep working even if your internet goes down. Each POS station runs on its own local database, so cashiers can still ring up customers when the network drops. Once you're back online, everything syncs automatically.

Does Markt POS handle grocery-specific features (e.g., produce by weight, deli scales, EBT)?

Yes. Markt POS includes industry-specific features like scale integration, deli counter label printing, EBT/SNAP processing, and eWIC as part of the core system — not add-ons you have to negotiate for later.

What does training and support for Markt POS look like?

Before your first day on Markt POS, we assign you a dedicated customer success manager to help with setup, training, and going live. Most cashiers get comfortable within a day because the checkout flow stays familiar.

If anything comes up after you’re live, you can reference our knowledge base or contact support at any time to troubleshoot.
