WHY ATTEND?

Come hungry for ideas, leave with a full cart.

Know what's changing before your competitors do.

Margins are tighter, and shoppers have more options. Generic POS systems keep charging you for features you don’t need. In four hours, you'll hear directly from the people tracking where independent grocery is headed — and which stores are growing in spite of it.

Walk away with a plan, not just a presentation

Every session is built around what you can actually use. Tactics for sales, inventory, and customer loyalty that you can take back to your store and act on — not a PDF you'll find in your Downloads folder in 2027.

Hear from grocers running stores like yours

You won’t find keynote speakers or analysts here. Real store owners and operators will talk through what's working in their aisles right now: margin management, EBT/EWIC, loyalty programs, and going online without losing what makes their store worth shopping at. Turns out they have opinions.

A curated lineup,
just for independent grocers.

Every session is handpicked to address what matters most to your store right now.

1

This isn’t theory—it’s real grocers using AI to solve real problems. The Digital Shelf highlights store owners who’ve created practical tools to improve efficiency, cut costs, and run smarter operations. They’ll walk you through exactly how they’re doing it—and how you can too.

2

Get a first look at the features landing in your POS this year: bulk SMS for loyalty, Auto PO, e-commerce with pickup and delivery, and margin management. ALSO, a special appearance from Double Up Food Bucks.

3

Hear directly from other grocers on what's actually helping them grow. Real talk on margin management, inventory, EBT, EWIC, OTC, and double-up food bucks.

4

Join partners CAS, GrazeCart, and Retagly, for a conversation on building a grocery experience that works in-store and online. Where omnichannel is heading, how adoption is trending, and what tools make it manageable for independent grocers.

Help Us Fill the Cart!

At the Retail Grocery & Market Summit, we believe the best communities show up for each other — and this year, we're turning that spirit into real impact. Together, we're taking on a social media challenge to give back to the neighbors who need it most.

Here's the fun part: Once our community #FillsTheCart during the event — with a little help from your engagement on social media — we'll unlock a donation to Meals on Wheels America!

So come ready to follow, like, share, and comment to help us fill it together. 🛒

For registered attendees only.

FAQ

Who should attend?

RGMS is built for owners, operators, and managers of independent grocery stores and markets — whether you're a long-time Markt POS or IT Retail customer or just curious what all the fuss is about.

Is there a cost to attend?

Free. As in, no charge. Register so we can plan accordingly (and so we know how much virtual coffee to brew).

What should I bring?

Your questions and challenges. We'll handle the rest. Snacks are optional but encouraged.

I'm already a Markt POS or IT Retail customer. Is this for me?

Yes — especially you. A big part of RGMS is built around what's coming to your store and how other operators are getting the most out of it. This is the clearest look yet at what's on the roadmap and how to use it. Consider it a cheat sheet.

Will sessions be recorded?

We'll share details on recordings closer to the event date. Register to stay in the loop. (The loop is good. The loop has updates.)
